Blogging, Speaking and Helping Schools Grow
I really enjoyed 2013. I had some great family times (check out my Facebook page if you want to see what I did and make sure you add me as a friend!) with special trips with my wife, Janine, and my two boys, Caleb and Benjamin.
I had the opportunity to work with over 30 schools all over the United States and to speak at several conferences. I even published my first e-Book: 12 Strategies to Keep Current Families Enrolled and Grow Your School.
In case you missed some of my blog posts from last year, I thought I would list my Top 10 visited blog posts on my website in 2013 (by the way, thanks for reading my blog posts along the way!):
And now, as I move into 2014, I am looking forward to another great year. My goal and passion is to continue helping schools grow in their enrollment and marketing effort.
I already have several conference speaking opportunities in 2014 and hope to see and meet many of you around the country. The following is my conference speaking list so far (with hopes of adding additional opportunities):
RAVSAK/PARDES Jewish Day School Leadership Conference, January 19-21, Los Angeles, CA
ACSI Administrator Board Conference, January 30-31, Lancaster, PA
NAIS Annual Conference, February 26-28, Orlando, FL
YU/Schechter 2014 Conference, March 2-4, Long Island, NY
NYSAIS Admissions Director’s Conference, April 23-24, New Paltz, NY
ADVIS Admissions Retreat, April 25, Upper Darby, PA
PEJE Recruitment and Retention Academy, May 18-20, Chicago, IL
AISAP Summer Institute, July 13-16, Portland, OR
Strengthening Christian Schools Conference, November 13-14, Dyer, IN
It looks like 2014 will be a busy and fruitful year!
Is there a topic that you would like me to address this year in a blog post or at a conference?
Do you have a best practice example at your school that you can share with me so that I can share it with others?
