I’ve known Shannon for about eight years. She is one of the best marketing directors in the independent school world. She is a leader and has been successful in three independent schools.

I first met Shannon when she was the director of marketing and publications at Miami Country Day School. She impressed me from the very beginning with her passion and drive to lead the marketing effort. I had the opportunity to work with her at MCDS to conduct research, assess their marketing effort, and provide recommendations for their marketing effort.

From there she accepted a new position The Out-of-Door Academy in Sarasota. Shannon hit the ground running and led the school through the “Pass-It-On” word of mouth marketing campaign. I still refer to this marketing video as one of the best school videos I have ever seen.

In 2015, Shannon moved to Charlotte, NC, to take on a new challenge at Charlotte Country Day School as the director of marketing and communications. As she builds upon her experiences and expertise in independent school marketing, she is focused on using data to inform and influence her online marketing and storytelling strategy.

I am looking forward to learning from Shannon in this webinar. If you can’t listen live, make sure you register and the recording will be sent to you.
